For Data Collectors:

What we collect:

  • Identity Data: Name, date of birth, address, and information from your official identity document (e.g., National ID Card, 'Auto-Entrepreneur' card), including your photograph and ID number.
  • Contact Data: Email address and phone number.
  • Financial Data: Commercial bank account information.
  • Geolocation Data: Your location when you are actively performing a data collection task.

Purpose of Use:

To verify your identity, manage your account, communicate with you, process payments for your services, and validate the location of data collection.

Lawful Basis:

The processing is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and Survision. The specific processing of your identity document is based on your express consent obtained during onboarding.

For Survey Respondents:

What we collect:

  • Survey Responses: Your answers to survey questions, which may include demographic information (age, gender), opinions, and preferences.
  • Sensitive Data: On rare occasions, a survey may ask for sensitive personal data (e.g., related to health). We will never collect this data without your prior, explicit, and specific express consent for that particular question.
  • Consent Records: A record of the date, time, and manner in which you provided consent.

Purpose of Use:

To gather market research insights on behalf of our Clients. Your data is typically aggregated and anonymized in the final reports provided to Clients.

Lawful Basis:

Your express consent, freely given before you begin any survey. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

For Client Representatives:

What we collect:

Name, professional email address, phone number, company name, and billing information.

Purpose of Use:

To manage our business relationship, fulfill our contractual obligations, provide project updates, and process invoices.

Lawful Basis:

The processing is necessary for the performance of the contract between your company and Survision.

4. Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on one of the following legal grounds as defined in Law 18-07:

  • Consent: Where you have given us your free, specific, informed, and unambiguous express consent.
  • Contract: Where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party.
  • Legitimate Interest: Where processing is necessary for our legitimate interests (such as ensuring the security of our platform), provided these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with the following parties only when necessary:

  • Clients: We share anonymized and aggregated research findings. Pseudonymized raw data may be shared only with your express consent for that purpose.
  • Service Providers: We use third-party service providers for functions such as payment processing, and secure cloud hosting. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and only use it for the purposes we specify.
  • Legal Authorities: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request from Algerian authorities.

6. International Data Transfers

Our clients may be located outside of Algeria. We will only transfer your personal data to a foreign country if:

  • The Algerian National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (ANPDP) has determined that the country provides a sufficient level of data protection; AND
  • You, the data subject, have given your express consent for the transfer to that specific country, after being informed of the potential risks.

We implement strong contractual and technical safeguards for all international transfers.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access.   • Collector Data: Retained for the duration of your contract with us, and for a period of 5 years thereafter to comply with legal obligations. Financial transaction data is kept for 10 years.
  • Respondent Data: Raw survey data is pseudonymized and stored securely. It is permanently deleted or fully anonymized within 90 days following the completion and closure of the relevant market research project.
  • Client Data: Retained for the duration of the business relationship and for 5 years thereafter.

9. Your Rights under Algerian Law

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of Access: To request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right of Rectification: To request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right of Deletion: To request the deletion of your data, under certain conditions.
  • Right to Object: To object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: To withdraw your consent at any time, where consent is the legal basis for processing.
